Milan and Como Lake – In the old days, the lake was called “Lario”, which means “deep place”. Lake Como is the deepest in Italy, and one of the deepest in Europe. Lake Como is the most picturesque travel destination for lovers.

Known for the majestic Duomo Cathedral, the outstanding opera La Scala, the medieval Sforza Castle, and the dazzling Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade, Milan will be an amazing place to visit. From there stop by lake Como for an outstanding and complete tour in north Italy.

Day 1
After your arrival at the airport, make your own way to your hotel and then enjoy your first day in the city at your own leisure, then head to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Have breakfast at your hotel then head to the meeting point at 9:15 am to start your tour at Largo Cairoli corner Via Cusani. Start by taking a look at one of the most impressive castles in Italy, Castello Sforzesco. Continue to see the largest church in Italy, a striking example of gothic art Duomo Cathedral. Exit the Duomo and walk inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping gallery, a 19th century glass vaulted shopping arcade. At the end of the Galleria you arrive at Milan’s most famous Opera House: the fabulous La Scala Theatre. Founded in 1778 and still in use, some of the world’s greatest musicians and opera singers have performed here including Pavarotti, Maria Callas and Giuseppe Verdi. Spend the rest of your dat at your leisure. Have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3
Have breakfast at your hotel, reach your meeting point at 8:15 am to join the group for the full day excursion to Como and Bellagio. After spending time shopping and dining, you will take a two-hour panoramic cruise on the stunning Lake Como. The mild Mediterranean climate ensures an abundance of exotic and rare plants thrive year-round. You will dock at the town of Bellagio, one of the most famous towns on the lake, you can follow the steep alleys running up from the lake and stop for a coffee or gelato at one of the lively cafes housed in grand historic buildings. Spend some time at your leisure here before cruise back to Como. In the afternoon, return at the meeting point. The tour ends, then rest at your hotel.

Day 4
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and our services will end.

  • Walk in the streets of Bellagio town and have a cup of coffee there
  • Take lots of photos during this trio because the scenery is just mesmerizing

  • Try a famous dish in Milan, Risotto alla Milanese and some Tiramisu at Ratana restaurant
  • Get some pizza from Piz restaurant
  • Enjoy a huge variety of drinks at bars and pubs like Porta Garibaldi, Corso Como, or Brera for a taste of chic and fashionable
  • While in Bellagio, enjoy some Linguine all'astice at La Cucina di Elsa

  • It is cheapest to go on foot, but also use buses and metro.

  • Italy has a Mediterranean climate, with cool winters and hot summers
  • The best weather is from September till April
  • Milan and Como can have some rainy summer days
