Warsaw is located in the heart of Poland and has been the national capital since 1596. It used to be a seat of Polish dukes and kings as well as the home of famous Polish including: pianist and composer Frederic Chopin, physicist and chemist Maria Sklodowska-Curie.

After being completely destroyed by the Nazis during World War II, the city was entirely rebuilt according to old documents and drawings. Throughout centuries Warsaw became a bustling European centre of culture, commerce, industry and politics preserving its rich history in many places, not only in its colourful Old Town listed as an UNESCO Heritage Site.

Day 1: Arrival to Warsaw

Morning arrival to Warsaw. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon sightseeing of Warsaw. Visit of the capital city and the biggest city of Poland. Warsaw is a place full of contrasts and memories from the past. The city center, completely destroyed during the World War II, was totally rebuilt when the war was over. During our walk we will visit the Old Town (UNESCO) and the New Town. Here we will experience how was the life of the kings and of the inhabitants of Warsaw in the past centuries. We will continue to the Krasinski Palace, the Supreme Court building and the monument of the Warsaw Uprising. We will see other important monuments of the city as well, like the Grand Theatre and the National Opera and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will finish our tour with a short walk through the Royal Route. Dinner. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 2: Free Day in Warsaw

Free day, dedicated to the discovery of the city with one’s own eyes. Visitors can go to one of numerous museums in Warsaw or admire mesmerizing views of the city.

Optional: Chopin’s music concert – possibility to hear music of best known Polish composer F. Chopin.

Day 3: WARSAW – KRAKOW

Transfer from Warsaw to Krakow. Krakow city sightseeing. Krakow is the cultural capital of Poland with Old Town listed as UNESCO Heritage. During the tour you would see Barbican and defensive walls with Florian's Gate, the Main Market Square with Sukiennice Cloth Hall, St Mary's Church and Town Hall Tower. We would proceed to the Jagiellonian University, pass by Archbishop Palace (where John Paul II used to live) as well as St Andrew's Church and St Peter and Paul's Church to reach the Wawel Hill. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Kraków

Day 4: KRAKOW - AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU - KRAKOW

In the morning transfer to Oswiecim. All over the world, Auschwitz has become a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust. It was established by the Nazis in 1940, in the suburbs of the city of Oswiecim (Auschwitz in German) which, like other parts of Poland, was occupied by the Germans during the Second World War. A visit to concentration and extermination camp museum might help you to comprehend what incomprehensible. Transfer back to Krakow and overnight

Day 5 – KRAKOW – WIELICZKA - KRAKOW

In the morning transfer to Wieliczka Salt Mine. Visit the most beautiful and the oldest operating salt mine in the world (UNESCO Heritage)! From over 700 years it was a source of Polish fortune and a physical fundament of culture. Today Wieliczka is the most willingly visited Polish tourist object with magnificent chapels, charming underground lakes and original tools and equipment. During this tour you could see a number of excavated chambers on 3 levels adorned with beautiful sculptures made of salt as well as a salt museum. Transfer back to Krakow. Afternoon free to your leisure, free time for shopping. Overnight in Kraków.

Day 6 – Free Day in KRAKÓW

Free day dedicated to the discovery of the city with one’s own eyes. We suggest you walking around medieval city centre, visiting National Museum or Wawel Castle – seat of the Polish kings.

Day 7– Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the train station in Krakow Upon arrival to Warsaw transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Walk through the alleys and passageway of the Old Town
Stroll down the Royal Route and explore all Warsaw’s historic landmarks in addition to the 3 residences : Royal Castle, Łazienki Palace and Wilanów Palace
Spend a whole day in Łazienki Park hopping from one villa to the next, marvelling at the sumptuous Łazienki Palace, pottering around four museums or just relaxing in the greenery
Have a quiet drink in cobblestone square in the old town market square
If you are a museum lover come to Warsaw ; you can visit as many museums as you want such as Polin Museum, Wasaw uprising museum, Copernicus Science Centre, the Palace of Culture and Science , national museum and more
Have a nice walk in Saxon Garden as it is one of the first public parks in the World
